The James Island Connector Run features a 10k run, 5k walk/run, and 10k bike ride. A post race festival with beer and live music will be held at Calhoun Park. Late registration opens at 7:15.
Proceeds from the James Island Connector Run benefit the Gavalas Kolanko Foundation (GKF), a local charity that awards annual scholarships to students with physical disabilities. Since 1999, the Foundation has awarded 52 scholarships to Lowcountry students attending College of Charleston and Charleston Southern University.
