The Garden Docent Class is a jouney through Lowcountry gardens and what you need to know to be an outstanding Garden Docent. We will start with grass roots and soils and work our way up through the tress while learning about the plants, people and places that make Charleston such a garden mecca. This course is designed to foster, inspire and inform you in the art of horticulture. With weekly field trips as the norm, you will visit some of the finest garden in the area. In turn, we appreciate your volunteer commitent of 15 hours or more for CHS sponsored events including PLANTASIA. Limited to 15 registrants.
