Josh Walden from The Center for Heirs Property Preservation will discuss how the Center seeks to prevent land loss among low-income heirs' property owners so that they may keep their ancestral land in the family, and to eliminate the disadvantaged status of heirs' property ownership under the law, through the provision of legal education and outreach, legal services, mediation services and community empowerment measures.
