The original Home Team BBQ celebrates its fifth anniversary in business in West Ashley with an all-day party featuring live music from singer/guitarist Jim Marshall, his band Junkyard Angel, and special guests. The venue will offer specials on oysters, drinks, and barbecue. They’ll have plenty of college football too. A native of Savannah, Marshall first started playing in Charleston in 2000 while attending CofC. He’s now a versatile solo singer/guitarist with a strong set of classic rock, country, blues, and Americana standards, as well as plenty of melodic original material. The big party starts at noon and runs until late.
