Mark Holland broke into the music business in the early ‘90’s as a member of the rock and roll group Jennyanykind (Elektra). He has since refined his blues-based act over 16 years of writing, performing and recording, supporting such acts as Robert Randolph and the Family Band, Southern Culture on the Skids, Paul Thorn, Flaming Lips, Afghan Whigs, Howard Jones, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Toby Keith, Shooter Jennings, Trace Adkins, Luna, Fastball and more.
His first album contained 12 originals and garnered press from New York Times, Billboard and the local Independent Weekly. He continued to contribute to four more Jule Brown records and also began writing for Jennyanykind along with his brother Mike. Mark continues to write and perform as a solo artist, specializing in country blues, as well as with the re-formed Jennyanykind.
