Self- Defense Workshop

The last Stage of Self-defense is the physical Act! 

2 ½ hour Self Defense Workshop that is meant to empower participants to make informed decisions about their well-being.  Situational and instinctual awareness will be emphasized. Physical training will focus on basic hand, elbow, knee and foot techniques with the use of bags. Partner work with grabs will be instructed. 

Limited to the first 15 people.

A little about the instructor:

  • MA: PHED, Nidan Black Belt, Shotokan Karate of America, training since 1981
  • Developed and taught Self-Defense courses for San Diego State University
  • Master’s Thesis on College Women’s Self-Defense Efficacy
  • Developed and taught Beginning Martial Arts College of Coastal GA- 11 years
