Evan Guthrie Law Firm Speaks To Hanahan High School Law Education Class About Life As An Attorney

Attorney Evan Guthrie of the Evan Guthrie Law Firm in Charleston, South Carolina visited Hanahan High School. On Friday December 6th, 2013, Attorney Guthrie came prepared to equip the school’s Law Education class with valuable information. The morning began with him providing the students with background on the legal field. He explained what it was about the field that drew him in. Further expanding on his love for the profession, Attorney Guthrie explained the stepping-stones on preparing for Law School, continuing on with what a typical day of a Law student consists of. Branching out further, topics including the different aspects on the legal career, and the different opportunities it encompasses were presented.

The students of the local Hanahan High School enjoyed being able to take what they learned in their studies and apply it to what they were learning from Attorney Guthrie. After talking about what life is like as a Lawyer, the students continued on the presentation with the many great questions they posed. The students were very appreciative to be given the opportunity of hearing from a professional, and gaining an outsider’s perspective on the topic. As all topics had been covered, the inquiries dwindled out, the students thanked Attorney Guthrie for his insight and time. Furthermore, Attorney Guthrie sends a huge thanks to the Hanahan High School for inviting him to come speak and represent a local lawyer.
