Here are the top stories in Charleston today:
- The Ralph H. Johnson VA Health Care System will distribute pre-packaged dinner meal kits to Veterans-in-need this Thanksgiving. Veterans or active duty service members and their families can get everything they need for a full Thanksgiving meal free of charge. The kits will be distributed starting at 1 pm on Saturday, Nov. 20 in the parking lot of the North Charleston VA Outpatient Clinic located at 6450 Rivers Ave. Proof of military service is required. - Cookies for a Cause has returned starting yesterday for a one-week campaign at select Chick-fil-As. For every cookie purchased this week, $1 will be donated to the Make-A-Wish South Carolina chapter and help fund a wish for a child in the Lowcountry. - Tickets for the tour of ANASTASIA, coming to the North Charleston Performing Arts Center on May 14 and 15, 2022, will go on sale next Monday, Nov. 22 at 10 a.m. (holycitysinner.com)
