Fresh from the fields: Lots to choose from at Seeds of Hope Farmers' Market
Locally grown, organic produce available every Saturday at John Wesley United Methodist Church, don't miss out next week
CHARLESTON - The Seeds of Hope Farmers' Market at John Wesley United Methodist Church on Savannah Highway offers a bounty of fresh organic produce every Saturday morning.
The food comes from Joseph Fields Farms on Johns Island and is certified organic. The prices rival that of any grocer and because it's coming from just down the road, the carbon footprint is about the size of a toddler's.
The market runs 8 a.m. - noon every Saturday through the growing season. Cash and federally funded WIC food coupons are accepted.
