Shoppers are invited to join Chef Troy Gagliardo at The Fresh Market located at 7747 N. Kings Highway on Saturday, October 24 from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. for a meet and greet, and book signing of his latest cookbook, “Pseudo Southern – A Playful Twist on the Art of Southern Cooking.” Chef Troy will also cook and sample items straight from the cookbook deemed as a celebration of both traditional Southern cuisine and Gagliardo’s home-made family recipes that span generations.

A North Carolina native, Gagliardo has been voted as one of Charlotte’s Top Five Chefs for two years running. His cooking segment “Troy’s Everyday Eats,” sponsored by The Fresh Market, has been one of the most anticipated features on WCCB News Rising for the past eight years. Gagliardo also developed the Chef Troy Spice Mix, a diverse line of cooking spices that can be purchased at The Fresh Market locations.
