The Game Changer For Exceding Your 2015 Production Goals
Your Success in 2015 will require more than a Business Plan, Positive Thinking, and Enthusiasm. You MUST answer this question.

The New Year is upon us. By now you should have your business plan together with your production goals, your mid-year bench marks, monthly numbers that you have to hit, etc. etc. Before you turn the page on 2014 Do Not forget to answer the most important question of your upcoming year.
How Coachable Will I Be?
Think back to when you first began your career as an Agent. Like most new agents, you probably acknowledged to others and to yourself that you were new in the business, and you were open to others suggestions. You wanted information on how the business worked. What was everyone doing to generate new leads? What types of systems did they implement, what worked, what didn’t? It was exciting. Because you were new to the business you had low expectations of what you should know and probably felt that others expectations of you weren’t that high either. Everything you could learn was a benefit to you.......YOU WERE COACHABLE!

At some point, you saw some level of success. At that moment, when your confidence grew, it’s likely that your willingness to be coached diminished.........just a little. After a while, your confidence continued to grow and you were probably given some advice, some coaching, or a suggestion on how to improve part of your business. You chose not to implement it. You dismissed it and continued on with what you thought was best. At that moment, your confidence in YOUR plan grew, and your openness to being coached diminished a little further. Somewhere down the road, you realized that you should have implemented a lot of things in your business. If you chose to implement them now, it would mean admitting you were wrong before, so you choose not to.
Wow............WHAT HAPPENED?

Being Coachable is a Catch 22 for most of us. We want the benefits of the coaching. We know we need the accountability, and when we don’t have it we recognize the impact that it’s having on our performance.
When we choose to be coachable we still acknowledge the benefits, but we complain about the accountability, stating that we are independent contractors, and no one can tell us what to do. We tend to take a little coaching to get us through whatever issue we are having right now, but fail to commit to being COACHABLE.
Becoming More Coachable This Year
Who Will You Follow?
The most successful leaders and producers are still followers. It’s a misconception that Top Performers are all original thinkers. They are simply more resourceful than others. They have found what works in their business and implemented it quicker than the rest. They continue to look for new ways to improve and implement those ideas quicker too.
What Plan Will You Commit To?
Yes, you will get points for originality and a sense of satisfaction when you come up with something on your own that changes your life or our industry. Until then, find a plan that is already proven to get results and implement it immediately. If you see that someone has a high level of success in your business, there MUST be a proven plan behind what they are doing.
Who built the plan that you are working? Did they experience a HIGH LEVEL OF SUCCESS with it?
How Will You Help Others With What You Have Learned?
When you understand the importance of being coachable, you also understand your responsibility to COACH OTHERS. When you are clear on the benefits that you have received from being coachable you then become open to share and contribute to the success of others. An added benefit that you will soon discover is that the best way to practice your skills is to coach others on those same skills.
