Gingrich visiting the Lowcountry
GOP Presidential candidate Newt Gingrich will make stops in North Charleston and Downtown

NORTH CHARLESTON - Area residents will have a chance to see another candidated in the crowded Republican presidential field Tuesday when former House Speaker Newt Gingrich attends the Charleston Tea Party Town Hall event 7:30 p.m. at North Charleston City Hall at 2500 Mall Drive.
The town hall follows a question and answer format allowing attendees to get a more intimate impression of the candidate than a stump speech or fundraising dinner would allow.
On Wednesday Gingrich will also be speaking at an electric cooperative event at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at Charleston Place Hotel at 205 Meeting St., according to his campaign.
