Here are the top stories today in Charleston:

  1. The North Charleston police found the vehicle they believe to be involved in the deadly hit-and-run with a bicyclist earlier this month. The crash occurred at the intersection of Dorchester Road and Constitution Avenue shortly after midnight on Sept. 15. The Honda Odyssey involved in the crash was found in the Ravenel area on Tuesday, days after the driver Antwain McDaniel was charged with leaving the scene of a deadly accident. (ABC NEWS 4)
  2. A boat was left in the yard of a North Charleston home last Thursday. The homeowner, Karen Reed, says her Ring doorbell camera caught the whole ordeal, in which several men with the boat, a truck, and a trailer tried to knock on her door, but she wasn't home. Reed called the North Charleston Police and was told the boat was now her property since it was in her yard. (Live 5 News WCSC)
  3. An immersive art exhibition, CONSUMPTION, has announced a free, one-day-only event, scheduled for Oct. 28th at the Charleston Union Station at 652A King Street. (holycitysinner.com)
  4. The Ralph H. Johnson VA Health Care System is now offering COVID-19 booster shots to those who are eligible. (WCBD News 2)
  5. The North Charleston Police Department said that a missing 40-year-old man, who was last seen in June, has been found safe. (Live 5 News WCSC)
