Here are the top three stories in Charleston today:

  1. The North Charleston Police Department has made three arrests in the fatal Saturday shooting that left one woman dead on Houston Street. Nayleisha Bernice Santana, Pierre Diya Irick, and Stuart Thomas Irick have been arrested on various charges related to the shooting. The victim's identity has not been released to the public.   2. Teachers from around the state gathered for a roundtable discussion at the Charleston County Public Library on Saturday. The teachers discussed recent pay increases, issues in the classrooms, and their own troubled futures due to inflation. Joe Cunningham and SC for Education hosted the event. (Live 5 News WCSC)
  3. Charleston County Parks is hosting the Mullet Haul Trail Run on Apr. 23 at Johns Island County Park. The event will feature two different races: a 10K and a 5K race. Participants will be running through the 738-acre park which features uneven terrain and varying degrees of impact. (WCBD News 2)
