  1. Police are investigating a shooting involving a 19-year-old in North Charleston at Family Dollar on Rivers Avenue Sunday night. The incident is raising concerns for local activists with the number of shootings in North Charleston on the rise. According to the North Charleston Police Department, 109 people were shot in North Charleston this year as of Oct. 31. (Live 5 News WCSC)
  2. Charleston Water System (CWS) has announced an increased rate for water and sewer services for some Lowcountry residents. CWS' Board of Commissioners announced that the 2022 budget and rate schedules for 2022 through 2024 were approved last week. According to the utility, there will be overall revenue increases of 5% and 6% for water and wastewater, respectively. (WTMA)
  3. William Lee Chesser, 31, was arrested for running from deputies and desecrating a burial ground in southern Charleston County early Monday morning. (WCBD News 2)
  4. Masks are now optional for those fully vaccinated at most Charleston County Government buildings. (ABC NEWS 4)
  5. Cannonborough Beverage Company, founded in Downtown Charleston, is expanding its operations in the Lowcountry. (WCBD News 2)
