Here are the top stories in Charleston today:

1. A local student on a school bus was transported to the hospital Thursday morning after a vehicle drove through an intersection, causing a near-collision. The incident occurred at the intersection of Cosgrove Avenue and Azelea Drive. North Charleston Police investigators say the bus was making a left turn on to Azelea Drive from Cosgrove Avenue when another vehicle went through the intersection, causing a school bus to slam on its brakes. 2. The City of Charleston has announced a series of road closures scheduled for Sunday during the annual holiday parade. Following the parade, Calhoun Street between Meeting Street and East Bay Street will be closed to facilitate the breakdown and release of parade participants.(WCBD News 2)
3. Charleston has been named on Condé Nast Traveler's list of the "22 Best Places to Go in 2022" for its upcoming International African American Museum, the annual Spoleto Festival USA, new luxury hotel The Loutrel, and more. (holycitysinner.com)
