  1. The Charleston County School District is considering a proposal that would create a partnership with a local nonprofit to help failing schools. The Reimagine Schools Funding Proposal is a plan being brought to the school board by the Coastal Community Foundation to "close the student achievement gap and support academic recovery efforts for students." If approved the plan would start in January of 2022 with the development of the Innovation Commissions. (Live 5 News WCSC)
  2. The Charleston County Sheriff's Office and three local law firms have teamed up to host a winter coat drive for students at a local Charleston high school. Coats and professional blazers can be donated for students at Greg Mathis Charter High School through Dec. 16. (WCBD News 2)
  3. The Charleston diocese is under fire after reappointing a Catholic priest accused of sexual exploitation. (WCBD News 2)
  4. Comedian and Emmy Award-winning actor Katt Williams announced that his "World War III Tour" is coming to the North Charleston Coliseum on April 29 at 8 pm. (holycitysinner.com)
