  1. The Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston says recent metrics could give hope in the battle against COVID-19. Seven metrics, including data from Charleston County, were tracked to access the severity of the COVID pandemic. MUSC says six of them show that the disease is finally tapering. (WIS10)
  2. Charleston Police have asked the public to be on the lookout for a man reported missing on Thursday. Kenneth Gladden was last seen by family members at 5 Commercial Row in Charleston on or around Jul. 1. Police say Gladden is possibly staying under the I-26 overpass near King Street.(Live 5 News WCSC)
  3. Drivers rescued a kitten from underneath car on the Ravenel Bridge yesterday. (WCBD News 2)
