Potter premier packs Citadel Mall theater

CHARLESTON - They started lining up at 5 p.m., in the rain, for the final Harry Potter movie.

Citadel Mall Imax Stadium 16 sold 1,600 tickets to the midnight premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II, showing on more than half of the screens in the building in Imax 3-D, Real D 3-D and regular old 2-D.

Many fans dressed as characters from the film series, some even dressed as characters from other film series - one showed up as Darth Vader, according to theater staff - and at least one person wore a hot dog costume.
