Report: Murder Suspects Had Planned to Rob Bar, Targeted Teen Instead
Affidavits in Marley Lion homicide investigation allege attempted carjacking was a last-minute change of plan.

Court records released Wednesday in the Marley Lion investigation suggest the bar where he parked his car was the original target the night the 17-year-old was shot to death.
Ryan Deleston, Bryan Latrell Rivers and Julius Terrell Brown have been charged with murder and other charges related to the June 16 incident. George Brown has been charged with accessory after the fact.
Live 5 News reports on new details in affidavits released Wednesday, including the alleged motivation for the three murder suspects to be in the Famous Joe's parking lot. Deleston reportedly told police that the bar was the target of an armed robbery that night and Lion interrupted their plan.

Charleston Police Chief Greg Mullen was hesitant to point to Deleston as the man holding the gun when , but Live 5 notes that Deleston is accused in the affidavits of being the gunman.
