CHARLESTON - Police on tuesday arrested 20-year-old Cornelius Robert Jenkins Jr., of 1164 Byron Road and charged him with armed robbery in connection with an incident on June 24, according to a CPD statement. Around 11:45 p.m. on Friday, June 24, police allege that Jenkins approached an employee of nearby Triangle Char and Bar on Tall Oak Avenue as he walked to his car, and robbed him at gun point, taking his wallet and cell phone. The incident unsettled neighbors and business owners in the area.
