Here are the top three stories in Charleston today:

1. The North Charleston Police Department has officially started its summer "traffic enforcement blitz." Department officers will reportedly be cracking down on speeding violations throughout the city. The "traffic enforcement blitz" will place additional officers in the Wescott area first. 2. Are you in the market for a new job or thinking about switching careers? 3. Charleston Harbor will be deepened by the Civil Works at the Engineering Corps. The harbor will be 52-feet deep by the end of the year — substantially deeper than its original 17-foot depth. The new depth will allow large container ships to operate in the harbor's waters. The extra sand will be used to create a bird sanctuary by The Audubon Society. (Live 5 News WCSC)
