Wild Dunes Homes and Condos - Isle of Palms
This resort features the most luxurious Charleston properties along with first-class golf, tennis and service.

The Isle of Palms lies just 20 minutes from Charleston, a strip of land 7 miles long and 1 mile wide that features the most incredible beaches and the most sought after real estate in the state.
Until the late 1800s, “Long Island,” as it was called had only a few inhabitants, mostly members of the Seewee tribe of Native Americans. J.S. Lawrence purchased the island in 1899, changed the island’s name to the Isle of Palms, and built a 50-room resort hotel with a pavilion and amusement park. The 1929 construction of The Grace Bridge and then, in 1949, of The Ben Sawyer Bridge, allowed access to the island by other than ferry. J. C. Long’s The Beach Company bought the land and built low cost housing for returning WWII veterans. New development began in the 1970s with the appearance of The Wild Dunes Resort.
The Wild Dunes Resort arrived on the Isle of Palms in 1972 as The Isle of Palms Beach and Racquet Club. The home to two golf courses created by Tom Fazio, this resort features the most luxurious Charleston properties along with first-class golf, tennis and service. The Links Course, one of Fazio’s favorite course out of the over 120 he has designed, blends rolling fairways with sand dunes with an ocean view and Harbor Course overlooks the Intracoastal Waterway.
Besides championship golf, Wild Dunes is known for its championship tennis facilities with 17 Har-Tru courts, 5 of which are lighted for night play. They offer an extensive tennis program with instruction and activities that encompass all ages and skills.
Add first class restaurants and lounges, a full service salon, fitness and sports training, wellness programs and limitless recreational activities from kayaking to biking. Wild Dunes has something for everyone.
Prices start in the low $600,000s for a 3 bed/3 bath, 1,500 sq ft condo to more than $3 million for a deep water or oceanfront estate with a wide variety of choices such as golf course homes, condos and villas.
