• Documents: Man escapes federal custody in Greenville, arrested after chase (foxcarolina.com) — A man who escaped federal custody in Greenville was ultimately arrested after a vehicle chase that began when he and his girlfriend were suspected of shoplifting at Academy Sports in Easley. Pickens County deputies used spike strips before tasing and arresting him, and he now faces additional charges while federal officials pursue an indictment.
