AAI is Hiring and More Local Jobs

Military contractor AAI Textron has more than a dozen openings at its Goose Creek location. The positions include senior manager contracts, designers, software engineers, simulator maintenance technicians, senior financial analyst, production manager, a pre-flight inspector and more.

In our jobs board, we have omitted one of Berkeley County's biggest employers: Berkeley County School District. Starting today, we'll be including it in our daily "more" list. Today, we're also highlighting a recent opening. The district is looking for a middle school principal. Not surprisingly, there's no shortage of responsibilities in this position. Chief among them, providing a safe, positive environment for learning. Applicants need elementary and secondary principal certification, along with at least a Master’s degree three years experience as an assistant principal.

BB&T is hiring at its St. James Avenue branch. The bank needs a financial center leader. Responsible for the sales team at the branch, the successful applicant will have to coordinate efforts to develop and retain a solid client roster, but that grossly oversimplifies the list of responsibilities. Really — someone is getting paid by the word.
