The South Carolina Highway Patrol responded to an accident near mile marker 212 just after 6 a.m. this morning that had stalled traffic across every lane as of 6:45. The Post and Courier's <a href="http://twitter.com/#!/AndyParas" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Andy Paras reports</a> the accident involves seven cars. Drivers on the interstate should proceed with caution and, if possible, take alternate routes like Rivers Avenue. <a href="http://twitter.com/#!/CHSAeroAnalyst" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Lee Anderson tweeted</a> that the commute time from Goose Creek to the airport — 15 miles — was nearly two hours.
