Alex's, KFC and More on Delinquent Tax Sale List

Berkeley County auction begins Monday.

Berkeley County started taking bids Monday morning for roughly 1,000 properties due to delinquent tax bills. (Complete list in the PDF at right)

The advertised list includes some recognizable locations in the Goose Creek and Hanahan communities.

The list was advertised last month. The owners had until Friday afternoon to resolve the debt before bidding began at 10 a.m. Monday. After a successful bid, the owner of the property still has a year to resolve the delinquent taxes before the sale is complete.
