After going dark more than a year ago, Alex's Restaurant is poised to return to downtown Goose Creek. The building suffered major roof damage in 2011 and has sat empty since then. But the past few weeks have seen a flurry of activity to repair the roof and return the dining room to its former glory. Now, the restaurant is hiring.
