We noted a few weeks ago that repairs were wrapping up at Alex's Restaurant. The diner is expected to open its doors Monday morning at 132 Saint James Ave. The building suffered major roof damage in 2011 and has sat empty since then. But the past few weeks have seen a flurry of activity to repair the roof and return the dining room to its former glory.
