America's Most Wanted to Feature Berkeley Escapee
Authorities hope national exposure will help capture James Sanders.

Original Reporting: America's Most Wanted will put a national spotlight on a man on the run after a Jan. 26 jail escape in Berkeley County.
James Sanders walked out of the Hill Finklea Detention Center in Moncks Corner and has been on the run since.  following the escape for not following proper procedure. One employee was fired.

a week later led to a late-night search for the man, who was being held in domestic violence case.
Authorities would later learn from twice between Feb. 3 and 4 to see an acquaintance who was a patient at the hospital.Â

In a statement, the Sheriff's Office said it was pleased the program would be airing a segment on Sanders.
"The nationwide coverage can only help us in our effort to re-capture this individual," said spokesman Dan Moon.
According to its website, America's Most Wanted airs new episodes Fridays at 9 p.m. on Lifetime. Moon did not know when the segment would air.
