2013 Girl Scouts of Eastern SC Award Ceremony

The 2013 Girl Scout of Eastern SC Awards Ceremony and Adult Recognition Event took place Sunday, May 5th at Santee Cooper Auditorium.

Guest speaker was Dr. Jan Sallas Crowe, DVM, owner of Creekside Veterinary Clinic, PA in Goose Creek. She spoke to the girls about how Girl Scouts helped to mold her into the woman, doctor and business owner she is today. Dr. Crowe was a scout from Brownies all the way to Campus Gold through college at The College of Charleston.

Dr. Crowe took some time to speak privately one on one with Rebecca Watson of Chesterfield, SC who was the recipient of The Grace Grady Scholarship. She will be attending Clemson University for her Pre-Vet studies and go on to Veterinary School to become a veterinarian, following in Dr. Crowe's footsteps.
