Today, the RRP has over 3200 students in 14 schools in Berkeley County with several rescue and therapy dogs adding to the fun. Last year this program gave away over 27, 000 books to students. Reading forms the foundation to a successful life and RRP is encouraging reading "one paw at a time."

Catherine Dixon, the Junior Ambassador of the RRP and a 5th grade student of Bonner Elementary, nominated Ms. Hicks for her community service with a letter to General Marion's Brigade. In the photo is Catherine Dixion, Marietta Hicks and Cathi Lee of General Marion's Brigade.
