Arrests Made in Francis Marion Slaying

Two men have been arrested in connection with the shooting death of a Conway man. The body was found in the Francis Marion Forest on Sept. 11.

Joshua Michael Pruitt, 18, of 2725 Cainhoy Road, Huger, has been charged with murder. He was booked in the Hill-Finklea Detention Center on Thursday afternoon.

Patrick Dwayne Kinlock, 22, of 1066 Greg Drive, Huger, was apprehended in Florida on Friday morning. An extradition hearing will be scheduled, according to Berkeley County Sheriff's Office spokesman Dan Moon.

The body of Robert Lamar Moultrie, 31, of Conway, was found on Brick Church Road on Tuesday morning inside a Chevy Suburban.

Following the autopsy, the coroner ruled the death a homicide. He did not disclose where Moultrie was shot or how many gunshot wounds there were, due to the ongoing investigation.
