Ashley Phosphate Lanes, I-26 Ramp Closed for Minor Spill
Hazmat, first responders on the scene.

The entrance ramp to Interstate 26 on Ashley Phosphate Avenue was closed mid-morning Thursday, along with several lanes of Ashley Phosphate heading toward Rivers Avenue.
It's a minor spill of less than 5 gallons of a liquid, said North Charleston Police spokesman Spencer Pryor. The type of liquid is unknown, but the ramp will remain closed during the clean up.
Fire trucks have blocked off the lanes, police are redirecting traffic and a hazmat team is handling the spill.
