Assault, Firearm Charges in Alleged Crowfield Boulevard Incident
Man arrested after teen suffers broken nose.

Goose Creek Police have arrested a Pineville man after an alleged roadway beating on Crowfield Boulevard left a teen with a broken nose.
Daniel Lorenzo Moultrie, 20, of Matilda Circle, Pineville, is charged with 2nd degree assault and battery and two charges of pointing a firearm at a person.
The victim in the alleged incident, a 19-year-old Moncks Corner woman, is recovering from a broken nose in two places.

According to a initial police report, Moultrie and the victim were meeting at the Sonic on College Park Road on Sunday afternoon so the victim could return Moultrie's debit card.

The victim and a witness who had driven her to the scene told police Moultrie allegedly threatened them with a shotgun.Â
Moultrie allegedly left the scene first, heading down Crowfield Boulevard toward St. James Avenue. The two women left after him, heading in the same direction.
The two cars were stopped at the Hamlets traffic light, where Moultrie allegedly got out of his vehicle and approached the other car.
When the victim opened her car door to tell him to leave, she says that Moultrie pulled the door all the way open and allegedly began hitting her.
In processing the scene, officers reported a large amount of blood in the vehicle. The victim was taken to Trident Hospital. Moultrie turned himself in at the Goose Creek Police Department late on Sunday.Â
