Attempted Burglary Thwarted By Neighbor's Dog

A Greenview resident was walking his dogs when he heard a loud bang coming from the house next door. One of his dogs immediately went towards the noise. 

As they approached the house, the witness allegedly saw a black male in blue jeans and a black jacket with gold lettering walking away from the carport.

The suspect told the witness that he was cutting through the yard and left the scene. The witness recognized the man because he said the suspect tried to sell him two leaf blowers last summer.

Pry marks were found at the back door. There had apparently been an attempt to break the glass in the door, but it was unsuccessful. It appeared no entry had been made.
