Galatians 6:19-22
The deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: ...strife, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, and things like these. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self control.

2 Corinthians 11:14,15
Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness.
2 Corinthians 13:11
Finally, brethren, rejoice, be made complete, be comforted, be like-minded, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.
God wants you to be at peace, so you can accomplish your earthly mission, which is to spread love and light and glorify him. Being “at peace” is when you don’t have a stomachache because nothing or no one is causing you anxiety. Satan is just the opposite of God. He wants nothing more than for your life to be full of anxiety, strife, and uncertainty because then you become ineffectual. Being “ineffectual” means you spend so much of your time focused on the bad things in your life that you have no energy to accomplish what God wants you to do. In short, you aren’t rejoicing. But Satan is a tricky fellow. He comes disguised as something that you might initially have thought was good for you but then as you continue in a bad relationship or situation, your feelings of peace, love, patience, and joy leave you and are replaced by uncertainty and anxiety. When you start feeling those unsettled feelings as you are looking for your answer, your signs and your signals, know that those negative feelings are not from God, but from Satan who is trying to pull you off your ministry and lead you down the wrong path. Ask yourself, “When I think of this person, or this situation, do my feelings of anxiety increase, or am I filled with peace and joy?” If the person or the situation is sent by God for you, feelings of peace will fill your spirit. And remember, even when you are confronted with unpleasant people, who might just be masquerading servants of Satan trying to pull down your spirit, as long as you keep your heart focused on love, by only speaking words of peace, you will be accomplishing your mission and your spirit will retain its joy.
