Baseball/Softball Tournament Action

Lots of baseball today. The Goose Creek Gators travel to Ashley Ridge today in the AAAA District 8 tournament. The winner will host the championship game May 2.

Meanwhile, Cane Bay hosts Berkeley in the AAA District 7 tournament. The winner will host the championship game May 2.

But, wait, there's more. Hanahan hosts Waccamaw today in AA District 6. Both teams notched solid victories against Barnwell and Lake City, respectively, earlier this week. The winner will host the championship game May 2.

In softball action Friday, Stratford lost to White Knoll, 7-0. Stratford will have another shot at reaching AAAA District 5 championship game on Monday. They'll host Spring Valley.

After a solid, 9-2 win over Pelion earlier this week, Hanahan hosts Waccamaw today. The winner will go to the AA District 6 championship game.

Goose Creek will host South Aiken today after losing in tournament play earlier this week. The winner will travel Monday to play the loser of today's Summerville/ South Florence game in AAAA District 8.

Cane Bay will play North Myrtle Beach in a AAA District 7 elimination game today at home. The winner will play Monday against the loser in today's Bluffton and Georgetown game.
