Tie In Best Coffee Poll: Dunkin' and Starbucks

Would you like that large or grande? It would appear the answer is both. 

We asked where to find the best cup of coffee and Goose Creek Patch readers told us Dunkin' Donuts … and Starbucks. It was a tie.

Dunkin' has two spots in the area: and 9155 University Boulevard. Both with very friendly staff and seasonal pastry choices that are hard to resisit.

Neither Goose Creek nor Hanahan have a Starbucks (or any traditional coffee house, for that matter). The nearest Starbucks is the North Charleston location at 250 Rivers Avenue. It's a stones throw from Hanahan and a popular stop for Goose Creek commuters, judging from the results of our poll. 

Again, I'll attest to a very friendly staff and great coffee. The chain has tried its hand at different pastry selections in the past few years, but I'm an old fashioned guy who still can't get enough of the chocolate brownies and iced lemon pound cake.
