Bighorn's Sports Grill will hold a ribbon cutting and grand opening festivities on Tuesday at its 12,000-square-foot Northwoods location.
The restaurant at 7832 Rivers Avenue, which unofficially opened earlier this month, is owned by Upsate restauranteurs Michael Varner and Phil Franklin and Charleston-based Marc Merrill.
The ribbon cutting by North Charleston Mayor Keith Summey at 1 p.m. is expected to include visits from Berkeley County Sheriff Wayne Dewitt, Charleston County Sheriff Al Cannon and state Sen. Larry Grooms (R-Bonneau).

The restaurant hosts live bands and offers a daily 10 percent military discount. The large site was the former home of K&W Cafeteria and, most recently, Rendezvous.
