Don't Pick Those Toys Up

Think twice before cleaning up your patio next time. A Brandywine Townhomes resident told police that he heard a noise on his patio July 20. He went out to find that his son's Big Wheel had been moved. It appeared that an unknown suspect tried to break in, but tripped over the toy and fled.

While You Were Out (With a U.S. Marshal)

On June 21, a woman was on the way to Blockbuster, when she was stopped by a U.S. Marshal for warrants in Indiana. She was taken back west to resolve those issues. She returned to Goose Creek on July 7 to find someone had stolen $800 from her bank account and $1,200 in jewelry from her home. The woman told police that she suspects a friend who had apparently decided to squat in her home while she was away.
