Blotter: Meat Tenderizer vs. Computer

The following information was supplied by the the Goose Creek Police Department.

An argument ended in injury last week as woman tried to destroy a computer monitor.

Responding to a domestic dispute April 1, Goose Creek officers arrived to find drops of blood on the floor and blood splatter on the walls.

A man called police during an argument with his wife. At diner, the couple began arguing about issues related to a previous separation.

Once home, the man said his wife continued arguing and, when he walked out on the balcony to call police, she reportedly threw her phone off the balcony and then went downstairs to continue destroying it.

She then reportedly went back inside and tried to destroy the computer with a metal meat tenderizer, cutting her hand in the process.

The woman corroborated her husbands story, telling police that she was trying to destroy the computer monitor when she cut her hand.

She was transported to Trident Medical Center for treatment. No charges were filed.
