Blotter: Mystery Driver Avoids Police — Again
The following information was supplied by the the Goose Creek Police Department.

A March 13 foot chase ended in mystery as a suspect avoided police — for what appears to be a second time.
That evening, a Goose Creek Police officer was working traffic enforcement on Thomason Boulevard when he saw a Ford Taurus illegally pass cars near St. James Avenue.
The officer attempted a traffic stop on Liberty Hall Road near Lumber Lane when a man in his early 20s got out of the car and started running on foot.

The chase led to a trailer park, where the officer saw the unknown suspect jump a fence and continue running. A K9 unit was dispatched, but lost track of the scent.
Attempts to locate the owner of the car, a 51-year-old Goose Creek woman, were also unsuccessful.

The officer then learned that Goose Creek Police had been called to the woman's home before. On Sept. 29, 2011, North Charleston Police Department had asked for the assist after the same Ford Taurus was involved in a similar traffic stop where the male driver escaped on foot.
