Officers found a young man matching the suspect's description, but he wasn't carrying the backpack.

Using a ladder provided by the restaurant manager, authorities found the bag on the roof of the Wendy's.

Police note that the backpack contained a plastic baggy of marijuana and a hand-rolled marijuana cigarette, along with rolling papers and two cigars. The drugs totaled 2.2 grams, according to police.

When asked, the suspect told police that the bag was his. The suspect was charged with failure to yield right of way, failure to render aid and simple possession of marijuana.
