Boeing is Hiring and More Local Jobs

In the latest Boeing job update, the company has posted more than a dozen new openings at the Dreamliner facility in the last week: Propulsion engineer, structural analysis engineers, fabrication specialist, manufacturing planners, manufacturing engineer, supply chain specialist, lean practitioner, industrial engineer, engineering technician specialist, interiors laboratory technician and manufacturing manager.

Honeywell is in the market for a logistics supervisor. The position involves coordinating inspections of contract units and making a presentation on the finished product. The job requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related technical training, and three years of experience.

The City of Goose Creek is hiring a golf course maintenance worker for the spring and summer. The right candidate will be able to maintain the grounds of the city's course at Crowfield. A high school diploma is needed, along with one year of experience in grounds keeping or landscaping.

Berkeley County has an opening at Cypress Gardens for a temporary boating/maintenance assistant. The successful applicant will wear a couple of hats, providing aid during events and paddling boats during interpretive tours. Not many job sites more beautiful than this one.

One more public job: The S.C. Department of Motor Vehicles is hiring a customer service representative for the Ladson branch off College Park Road. The key for this job is good communication skills and an ability to successfully complete the training.
