14 RSFH Nurses Among State’s Palmetto Gold Winners
Prestigious award honors those who exemplify excellence in nursing

Roper St. Francis Healthcare (RSFH) is pleased to announce that 14 of its nurses have been named 2013 Palmetto Gold Award recipients by the South Carolina Nurses Association (SCNF).

Palmetto Gold, a statewide award and scholarship program, recognizes 100 outstanding registered nurses in South Carolina each year. RSFH winners for 2013 came from all three of the system’s hospitals. They are:

Nominations are accepted from across the state and are submitted to a 12-member panel for blind review. Nominees are reviewed in four areas: promotion and advancement of the profession of nursing; care and commitment for patients, families and colleagues; leadership through helping others grow and develop; and contribution to overall outcomes.

All winners will be honored April 6 during the Palmetto Gold Annual Gala in Columbia.
