Berkeley County Residents Desire Two Hospitals!

The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) determined that Berkeley County can support two hospitals.  The Administrative Law Judge reviewed DHEC’s data and agreed that two hospitals could be built in Berkeley County, but Roper Saint Francis and Trident Health continue to litigate and postpone instead of building both much-needed facilities. Both hospitals are needed now and should not be delayed for years simply to exhaust all appeals! 

As political, business, institutional, and community leaders representing all portions of Berkeley County, we urgently request Roper Saint Francis and Trident Health CEASE all delaying actions and build both hospitals in Berkeley County now!

We demand TWO HOSPITALS NOW!

We need to create JOBS NOW!

We deserve QUALITY HEALTH CARE CLOSER TO OUR HOMES!

We encourage you and all other Berkeley citizens to contact your local government representatives, comment on and like our FACEBOOK page, and/or send a letter to  local news media and show your support for two new hospitals in Berkeley County.
