Endorsement

Editor's Note: Jerry Tekac is a Goose Creek City Council member running for re-election. 

I just received official notification that I am being endorsed in my re-election bid for Goose Creek City Council by the South Carolina Police Benevolent Association Inc.  This endorsement has very deep meaning for me as my father was a Police Officer for nearly 40 years.  I look forward to serving the citizen's of Goose Creek and I appreciate the endorsement of those in law enforcement. 

The role of City Council is broken down into providing 4 essential services to our residents.  These services include Police, Fire/EMS, Water and Sanitation.  If, as a Council, we can provide these services well, the rest of what we accomplish makes our quality of life that much better.  I hope our residents never have to utilize 2 of these servies (Police Department and Fire Department) but I am confident that if the need does arise, we have waiting to serve you a well trained professional that will do their best to meet your needs.  Under the leadership of Police Chief Becker and Fire Chief Chapman, the City of Goose Creek is well protected.
