ImPRESSive experience with Americlean Dry Cleaners of Goose Creek

I'm not one of those people who thinks about dry cleaning, if something says, "Dry Clean Only," I avoid it. Call me cheap, but it's mainly due to the fact that I'm lazy and forgetful, and the combination of both of these mean that I never make it around to taking anything to the dry cleaners.

Recently, however, there was an 'incident' in my house which involved an angry cat and a pile of my boyfriends dry clean only clothes that were on the floor. Let's just say that the clothes were left with a rather pungent odor. In my defense this is the first time I've had an event of this nature in 13 years of having my cat.

Since I am new to the dry cleaning scene I quickly googled "Dry Cleaners of Goose Creek." I came across Americlean Dry Cleaners, which led me to their Facebook page that listed an email for Davy. At 9:30 p.m on a Saturday I typed out a quick email asking if he thought he could help in this situation. I should note that we had already taken the clothes to a dry cleaner only to get them back with no change in the odor of the clothes. At 10 p.m I got an email from Davy saying, bring them in, we can fix it, no problem. We exchanged a few more emails in which I was promised that the clothes were not ruined. YAY!

I just returned from picking up the clothes and I have to say that Americlean has a customer for life! Between exchanging several emails with Davy, a spotless facility, and over-the-top, out-of-this world customer service, this is the best customer service experience I’ve ever had. The clothes were like new! Davy explained to us how they meticulously go over all their clothes and how they go that extra step to make sure the clothes are cleaned properly. I can only say how much I respect his passion and consideration for his customers and his business.

Now … if anyone would like to adopt a cat. =)
