Patched Up!: Dr. Clifford Saves The Day; Vote To Honor Him
Dr. Clifford braves danger to save kids' lives.
Dr. Andrew Clifford, of Coastal Pediatrics Associates, regularly leads medical teams to hot zones such as Thailand, Burma, Jordan and Iraq.
That work, which can easily turn dangerous, has earned him a Save the Children REAL Award nomination.
In the heaving bustle of Rangoon, Burma, for example, a pair of 50-child orphanages have been treated annually since 2007. The work has included installation of water purification and the distribution of vitamins, deworming medicine, food and clothes.
